During the working visit of the President of the Republic of TAJIKISTAN, the respected Emomali Rahmon to the Khovaling district, facilities for various purposes were used and are being operated in the urban and rural jamoats of the district.
Today, September 5, the Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said and the head of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Zulfikor Gulahmadzoda put into operation two small indoor sports grounds in the village of Sokhtmonchiya and the village of Dorabiya in the Khovaling district.
As part of the improvement, small indoor sports grounds were built and put into operation in front of the educational institution No. 6 of the district, located in the village of Sokhmonchi, Khovaling village and in the village of Dorabii, Jombakht jamoat, as part of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The sports ground with a football field was built by local entrepreneur Abdullo Hasanov for 2 million 200 thousand somoni, each with an area of (21×41) 861 square meters. During the construction work, from 20 to 35 local residents were provided with temporary work and good wages.
The indoor sports ground allows students of general educational institution No. 6 to play sports in the evenings in the summer and winter seasons; teenagers from the villages of Obshoron, Vose, Khovaling and the village of Dorabii Jombakh can spend time in the evenings doing sports.
The perimeter of the fields is fenced 6 meters high and equipped with lighting, which makes it possible to play football in the evening and at night.
The Chairman of the Khatlon region in a conversation with local youth noted that playing sports in free time is one of the useful ways to prevent joining any party, movement and extremist ideas.
The Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said highly appreciated the quality of construction work at this modern sports facility. Drawing attention to the fact that sports in the modern world are one of the most important means of representing the nation and the state, the head of the region called on young people to play sports more and choose a healthy lifestyle as their permanent occupation.
The head of the region also presented the athletes with souvenirs and several footballs to begin the opening of the sports ground.
