Today, September 5, the head of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said and the head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajik Railways” Komil Mirzoali Jurakhon put into operation additional classrooms in the village of Panjrud in the Mir Said Ali Hamadoni district.
As part of the improvement and construction works dedicated to the 35th anniversary of State Independence, the building of General Education Institution No. 10 in the village of Panjrud, which had been in need of repair for many years, was handed over for high-quality repairs, the contribution of local entrepreneurs and the parent committee, and it was also decided to provide school supplies, which pleased the teachers and students of the school.
According to the information, the building of this institution consists of two floors, has eight classrooms and three other auxiliary rooms, where more than 480 children study in two shifts.
Taking into account the annual increase in the number of students and the demand for places, local entrepreneurs who are graduates of this educational institution decided to build a new educational building in support of the development policy of the Government of the country.
With the opening of the additional educational building under construction, along with eliminating the problem of lack of places, at the same time, the educational conditions in this institution will improve even more. The head of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said addressed the teachers and students and instructed them to contribute to the development of the country with good reading and significant activity.
Also, the chairman of the Khatlon region emphasized that in today’s conditions, knowledge of foreign languages, and the main mission of teachers is to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, national pride and language learning.
The teachers also expressed gratitude for such a wonderful gift and promised to educate the younger generation in the spirit of self-knowledge and self-awareness.
It should be noted that in 2023, 95 general education institutions worth more than 260 million somoni for 17,402 places were created in the cities and districts of the region, and in 8 months of 2024, 32 general education institutions with a number of 213 classrooms for 10,650 places were created at the expense of all sources of funding. General education institutions in two shifts were repaired for more than 60 million somoni.
