Tirgon – holiday of all farmers
The Tirgon holiday, along with the Sada, Navruz and Mehrgon holidays, was revived thanks to the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the respected Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, based on historical traditions.
On June 30, in the Iram park in the city of Dushanbe, the Tirgon holiday was held with an exhibition of agricultural products, in which dehkan farms, farmers and activists from the Khatlon region took part.
Khatlon region presented residents and guests of Dushanbe with handicrafts, fruits, dried fruits processed at industrial enterprises in the region, bread, and sweets.
Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan visited exhibitions in cities and regions of the country and appreciated them.
At the end of the event, the performances were assessed and the Khatlon region was awarded for its active participation in the celebration of Tirgon and the holding of the Apricot Festival and the exhibition “Fruits of Tajikistan,” which promote the promotion of the heritage of our ancestors. development of horticulture, increase in production and export of apricots, strengthening of scientific and innovative achievements in technologies for growing grain crops, irrigation methods and efficient use of land were awarded a First Degree Diploma.
The participants were presented with a cultural program of the country’s artists.
