The Chairman of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said, visited the personal plot of Shamsov Kudrat, located in the village of Sevdara, Shamsiddin, Shokha district, in order to familiarize himself with the process of field work and the effective use of land at the courtyard.
It is reported that the area of land near the yard of a resident of Shamsov Kudrat is 0.2 hectares, 100 fruit trees grow on it, including apple trees, pears, apricots, and cherries.
On the plot near the yard, 0.1 hectares of potatoes, 0.5 hectares of tomatoes, cucumbers and pumpkins were planted.
They said that he raised black cattle on his farm and supplied his farm with dairy products.
During a conversation with residents, the head of the region, Davlatali Said, noted that the main factors for the growth of the national economy in the Republic of Tajikistan are the increase in gross domestic product and the unprecedented development of the agricultural sector. That is why ensuring the country’s food security is one of the strategic goals of the country’s government. To achieve this goal, neighborhood residents must effectively use the land near their yard.
