The Chairman of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said, during a working trip on June 28, commissioned the building of a public bathhouse in the center of Shamsiddin, Shokha district.
This facility was built as part of the construction and improvement work dedicated to the national holiday – the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the development of the area’s infrastructure using modern architectural methods, high quality and meeting modern requirements.
The public bath building consists of two floors, its construction began in 2022, and construction work has now been completed. The bathroom is equipped with modern amenities and can accommodate 20 people at a time. Currently, landscaping work around the building and paving slabs in front of the building have been completed.
It was reported that the construction cost of the project amounted to 511 thousand somoni and was financed by local entrepreneur Jomiev Jahangir. 3 local residents are provided with permanent work in a public bathhouse.
Dawlatali Said highly appreciated the construction work at this service facility and expressed gratitude to the businessman for his contribution to the prosperity of this country.
It should be noted that in order to celebrate the 35th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, 6 thousand 260 objects for various purposes are planned in the region, of which 2809 have been put into operation.
