Today, within the framework of a working visit to the city of Kulob, the acting head of Khatlon region, Davlatali Said, paid a visit to the labor veteran, the People’s Poet of Tajikistan, Haqnazar Ghoib. It was said that the work of veterans, service-oriented personalities, is under the direct attention of the top leadership of the country, especially the founder of peace and national unity – the leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. It is worth mentioning that Haqnazar Ghayib was born in the village of Oftoblika, Kulob city. After graduating from the institute, he worked as a teacher for a year, and then turned to journalism. In the past, Haqnazar Goyib served as the chairman of the Committee of the Trade Union of Culture Workers, the head of the Television and Radio Committee of the Kulob region, the responsible secretary of the Kulob branch of the Union of Writers of Tajikistan, the editor-in-chief of the regional newspaper “Khatlon”, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Navidi Kulob”. In 1976, he was awarded the title of People’s Poet of Tajikistan in 1996, winner of the Rudaki State Prize of Tajikistan, in 2000 he received the Shamsiddin Shohin Prize. A series of his stories “Ehyanoma”, “Hasrat Firdawsi”, “Hasrat Einstein”, “Tears of the Sun”, “Sorushi Khatlon” have been published. In 1989, Haqnazar Goyib won the first Mirzo Tursunzoda Award for the creation of the heroic story “Ehyanoma”, dedicated to the hero of the Tajik people, Temurmalik. In 2000, the work “Suroushi Khatlon” was awarded the Tajik State Prize named after Abu Abdullah Rudaki. The leadership of the region expressed their gratitude for his faithful and long-term service and contribution to the development of Tajik literature and the education of the young generation.
