Today, January 26, a meeting of acting head of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said, with the director of the CNPC (China National Oil and Gas Corporation) Central Asia B.V. branch in Tajikistan, Mr. Li Bing, was held at the Khatlon regional executive body. The parties discussed the issues of the implementation of the Agreement on the distribution of products related to exploration-geological works in oil and gas fields in Khatlon region. Li Bing noted that if the exploration-geological works are completed in good condition, a serious impetus will be given to the development of the oil and gas industry of the country. At the meeting, the investment opportunities, legal framework and favorable conditions of operation in the Republic of Tajikistan were explained, and it was mentioned that the Tajik side is related to the expansion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation and the involvement of Chinese companies in the process of rapid industrialization of the country.
