On December 5, in the hall of the executive body of state power of the Khatlon region, the Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said met with the General Director of the Electric Power Production Company of the People’s Republic of China Gu Cheng Feng.
It was noted that good bilateral relations have been established in the Khatlon region with influential companies of the People’s Republic of China, it was emphasized that at the present stage, relations between Tajikistan and China are rapidly developing.
During a warm conversation, Davlatali Said called the strengthening and expansion of working relations with Chinese companies one of the priority areas of foreign economic activity and added that we are interested in building long-term relations that contribute to the effective use of China’s potential.
– We consider regional cooperation as an important element of economic and trade development, attracting investment, creating industrial enterprises and introducing modern technologies, – the chairman of the region added.
According to the General Director of Electric Power Manufacturing Company Gu Cheng Feng, their largest energy company is very interested in participating in the construction of small and large wind and solar power plants in the region. It was emphasized that the company can help the region in the creation of solar and wind power plants.
It was also emphasized that China will continue to support Tajikistan’s cooperation in providing access to renewable energy sources.
A useful conversation also took place on the creation of wind and solar power plants and other topics of interest.
The Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said supported the proposal to create wind and solar power plants and noted that after visiting areas favorable for the implementation of these projects, he will help solve this problem.
