As part of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, expressed in the Address to the Majlisi Oli, a campaign to plant evergreen trees was held today in the Fakhrabad jamoat of the Khuroson district with the participation of the Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said.
In a conversation with specialists and residents, the head of the region emphasized that such tree planting events will be expanded in the region, and at the same time, the importance of proper care of seedlings to ensure sustainable development of the environment should be in the first place.
– The warming of the planet’s temperature and its negative consequences – water shortages, successive droughts and other natural disasters, in addition, the deterioration of the environment, which has led to increasingly difficult supplies of food and quality drinking water in many countries and regions of the world, contributes to the spread of infectious diseases and increased resistance of existing drugs against the virus, infectious diseases. Therefore, this initiative is considered one of the important stages in the implementation of the goals of nature conservation and improving the ecological environment in the region, – added the Chairman of the Khatlon region.
The Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said emphasized that each of us needs to engage in tree planting and landscaping in order to correct the unpleasant state of the environment and prevent its further destruction, as well as complete significant work in the name of saving nature and humanity.
It is reported that within the framework of this environmental event, the regional department of environmental protection and a group of experts and activists planted more than 1,000 evergreen and shady trees on the side of the Dushanbe-Bokhtar highway.
Planting trees is one of the good deeds, as a good tradition left to us by our ancestors. Thanks to this, in the country, especially in the Khatlon region, the tree planting campaign becomes a real tradition every year.
