SH. SHOKHIN: THE CHAIRMAN OF KHATLON REGION VIEWED THE CONDITIONS OF THE INTENSIVE PEAR GARDEN AT THE “BOBOY SHAMS” FARM

On June 28, in continuation of the working trip of the Chairman of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said visited the cultivation of an intensive garden at the Boboi Shams farm in Shamsiddini, Shokha district.
The Ilkhom farm has 30 hectares of irrigated land; this year 17 hectares of corn, 2.5 hectares of onions, 2 hectares of sorghum, 1.5 hectares of orchards, 5 hectares of wheat and 2 hectares of fodder (alfalfa) were sown. The onion harvest is now ready.
The total area of ​​the intensive garden is 1 hectare; 2,200 pear seedlings are planted on this territory. Agrarian Nazarov Mirmad planted 0.4 hectares of potatoes, 0.3 hectares of tomatoes, 0.3 hectares of vegetable crops: cucumbers and pumpkins. Currently, the growth of the garden and crops is processed in accordance with agrotechnical rules. The total cost of landscaping the garden is 135 thousand somoni, and it was built by entrepreneur Nazarov Mirmad, a resident of the village of Sebdara, Shuroobodi district. In this garden, 8 farmers are engaged in seasonal work.
Thus, the farm annually plants a large number of crops and contributes to improving the well-being of residents and the economic level of the farm.
Davlatali Said had a sincere conversation with the farmers and highly appreciated their hard work in the cultivation and production of fresh natural products.
It was emphasized that in the current conditions, the efficient use of land, obtaining more than two harvests from it, the production of agricultural products, sufficient food supply and supplying the country’s markets with fresh agricultural products require greater responsibility from farmers than ever before.
