Today, March 14, the Chairman of Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said, paid a working visit to Vose District. In the village of Kaftarkhona of the settlement named after Khudoyor Rajabov, the head of the region familiarized himself with the progress of the construction of an additional building for Secondary School No. 16.
The additional building, which will include laboratories for exact sciences, is designed to accommodate more than 800 students studying in two shifts. The customer of the project is the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the financing is provided by the Asian Development Bank within the framework of the project “Improving the Quality of Secondary Education in Natural Sciences, Technology, Informatics and Mathematics.”
The new building will be three stories high and will include 15 classrooms. Construction works are being carried out by LLC “Fido Sokhtmon.” The implementation of the project began in December 2025 and, according to the plan, will be completed by June 2027.
During the visit, the Chairman of the region reviewed the progress of the construction works, their quality, and the project implementation timeline. Davlatali Said gave specific instructions and recommendations to the responsible persons to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of the construction.
It was noted that the construction of the additional building will create more favorable conditions for students’ education, improve the level of their training, and strengthen the educational infrastructure of the region.
