On December 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated Secondary Educational Institution No. 53 in Jaihun district by lifting the curtain over the symbolic plaque.
Secondary Educational Institution No. 53 in Jaihun district was built to celebrate the great national holiday – the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The construction work was carried out by specialists and builders of the Behbud Trade Cooperative using high-quality construction products, adhering to international standards and beautiful architectural designs and elements, so that children and adolescents can be immersed in high-quality education and upbringing for many years in this center of knowledge and enlightenment.
This educational institution is designed for 1,300 students in two shifts, and has 28 spacious classrooms, an assembly hall, cultural and sports hall, canteen with 50 seats, library, medical center, and methodological rooms.
During a conversation with teachers and students, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, stated that with the creation of favorable conditions for education and upbringing in all general educational institutions of the country, the priority should be not quantity, but quality of education and knowledge.
It was reported that in the 34 years of independence, a number of new-type general and educational institutions have been built in the country to provide adolescents and young people with modern knowledge that meets international standards, study exact subjects, foreign languages, and technology.
In 2024-2025 alone, 91 additional classrooms with 2,275 seats were built and put into operation at 52 general educational institutions in Jaihun district.
Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, remotely commissioned 16 educational facilities in the districts of Jaihun, Dusti, Panj, Qubodiyon, Shahritus, Nosiri Khusrav, and 3 industrial enterprises in the districts of Dusti and Panj.
Commissioning of the State Preschool Institution “Ma’rifat” under Secondary Educational Institution No. 12 for 400 children, the Preschool Institution “Donoyak”, new educational buildings under Secondary Educational Institution No. 1 in Dusti town, Secondary Educational Institution No. 6 in Panj village and Secondary Educational Institution No. 11 in Qumsangir village of Jaihun district with a capacity of 1,440 students, the administrative building of education in Dusti district, additional buildings under secondary educational institutions in Jilikul, Khurramdiyor and Navzamin villages of Dusti district, a new building of Secondary Educational Institution No. 9 with 1,280 seats and an additional building with 480 seats in Hamdilon village of Panj district, a new building of Secondary Educational Institution No. 51 with 1,400 seats and a private preschool institution for 375 children in Qubodiyon district, an additional educational building with 800 seats near Secondary Educational Institution No. 6 in Shahritus district and two additional educational buildings with 800 seats near Secondary Educational Institution No. 12 in Nosiri Khusrav district indicate that education is recognized as a priority sector in the country, and the construction and establishment of new educational institutions in all cities and districts of the republic is gaining momentum.
It was reported that all educational facilities are provided with good educational conditions, computers, and subject classrooms.
As part of the implementation of the fourth strategic goal – the rapid industrialization of the country, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, also remotely put into operation the Slate Production Plant with 45 jobs, the Cotton Processing Plant of “Sarmoyai Dusti” LLC for processing 10 thousand tons of cotton with 35 jobs in Dusti district, and the Cotton Processing Plant in the Technological and Innovation Park with 50 jobs in Panj district of Khatlon Province.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, commended the creative initiative of entrepreneurs and instructed the officials of industrial enterprises to pay serious attention to the quality of products and cotton processing, and in the future, expand the scope of activities of enterprises and increase jobs.
